New sports massage therapists join expanding Kenilworth physio clinic - summer offers now available

Two new sports massage therapists are set to join the team at an expanding Kenilworth physiotherapy clinic.
Customers at HALO Physiotherapy can also benefit from a discount with the two new team members this summer to mark their arrival.
Based at Camden House on Warwick Road, HALO has expanded its services but continues to put an emphasis on individual care and treating every patient as an individual.
Starting on July 26 is Coventry University graduate Joshua Pereira who has built his clinical experience across MSK, neuro, and elderly care settings, alongside a strong foundation in soft tissue therapy and sports rehabilitation.
"Joshua has worked closely with university and college-level football teams, providing pitch-side care, injury management, and rehabilitation support," the team said.
"He has also delivered one-to-one soft tissue therapy and tailored exercise programmes in both gym and clinical environments.
"With a particular interest in injury prevention and performance recovery, Joshua is passionate about helping patients move better, recover faster, and achieve their physical goals through evidence-based therapy and hands-on care."

Joshua will be available on Saturdays at HALO from 8.30am to 5pm with sessions usually costing £50 pay as you go or five sessions for the price of four (£200) when booked in advance. However during August customers will get a discounted rate of £37.50 for an hour-long appointment.
Senior soft tissue and sports massage therapist Andree Matthews joins the team on August 6 and will work on Wednesdays (10am to 4pm) and Thursdays (10am to 3pm) at HALO.
Bringing over a decade of experience to the team, Andree has worked in a variety of establishments including: the NHS, private physiotherapy clinics and the High Performance Centre at The University of Birmingham.
She has worked in elite sport, with injured service personnel and with people from all walks of life (and all levels of fitness!).

"A strong believer in evidence based practice, she endeavours to make each session as effective and pleasurable as possible," the HALO team said.
Charging £60 per session - or £240 for five - Andree will also be offering an August promotion of £48 for a 60-minute appointment.
HALO Physiotherapy was first opened in March 2013 by Michelle Henry and Rachael Adams with a focus on personalised treatment and making sure clients receive the best support possible.
Now owned by Dr Andrew Threadgold and Philip Jordan, HALO offers sports massage, sports medicine, Pilates - in groups and for individuals - and other services including 1:1 reformer Pilates, podiatry, aromatherapy, reflexology and mindfulness.
The practice has now introduced a new 'first aid at work' programme for local businesses. A wide range of courses of varying lengths are available, are flexible around the needs of the business, and all are led by certified First Aid at Work Instructor Paul Godfrey who has over 33 years of extensive experience of working in private practice.
HALO also provides a range of support for pelvic health — including antenatal care, postnatal recovery, and specialist pelvic health services.
"The business was launched with the desire to give a more personal approach to physiotherapy," practice manager Kate O'Donnell told Nub News.
"Instead of just giving people some generic exercises and leaving it to them, we want to give that personal experience and really listen to and understand what the patient's symptoms and needs are.
"From the moment the patient enters the clinic, they are made to feel at home and prioritised.
"Every new client is given a full assessment to find out their needs and their experiences. From there we can give them a comprehensive treatment plan with our team of experienced and highly qualified experts."
