A new show home has opened at a new 620-house estate being built in Kenilworth.

Linden Homes began selling the first houses at its Stoneleigh View development in March, and has now unveiled a new four-bedroom show home.

Detailed plans for the major estate - which will wrap around the Woodside Hotel and new Kenilworth School - were approved by Warwick District Council last November despite concerns over sustainability.

The planning committee also raised concerns over transparency as the major development is a joint venture between Vistry Linden and Milverton Homes - the council's own housing company.

WDC is investing £60 million in the project, which will include 248 affordable homes for the council and a further 62 houses to be built for renting by Milverton Homes.

The rest will be sold privately by Linden Homes and Bovis Homes, and the first phase are now on the market.

Gemma Hardy, sales director at Countryside Partnership South West Midlands said: "We're excited to launch this new, four-bedroom show home at Stoneleigh View.

"Residents here will benefit from an exceptional lifestyle, enjoying modern, high-quality, sustainable homes with great local amenities, excellent connectivity and a green setting.

"Our limited-time offer to pay new customers' mortgages for 12 months makes an appealing prospect an unmissable one."
