As the new year gets underway we are featuring ten dogs from Dog's Trust Kenilworth who are looking for their "forever home" in 2026.
From Pointers to German Shepherds there is a huge selection of pets in need of a new family this year.
Dog's Trust said: "If you are interested in giving a dog their happy place this Christmas and beyond, Dogs Trust Kenilworth is open to the public five days a week, and you don't need an appointment to visit, meet dogs looking for homes, get advice or apply to adopt.
"As every dog is unique, finding the perfect match can take anything from a few weeks to several months.
"You only need to apply once every three months, and the charity will do all it can to find the right dog for you, however long it takes."
Connie
One-year-old crossbreed Connie is looking for a new home.
Connie has spent a short time in a home environment where she was mostly housetrained so she will need adopters who can help continue her positive training.
Connie absolutely loves people and loves to make friends wherever she goes.

Blot
Blot the pointer is a "sweet lad" but little is known about his past.
"Blot would love to find patient adopters who can help teach him all he needs to know about life in a home," Dog's Trust said.

Donny
"Handsome lad" Donny is a crossbreed whose background is also a bit of a mystery.
New experiences and people can be a little daunting for Donny, and he will need to wear a muzzle when out and about on his walkies to help keep him and everyone around him safe.

Mavis
Italian Corso Dog Mavis needs ongoing medical care.
This "gorgeous girlie" was found as a stray and would need some help settling in to a new home and mastering her housetraining.

Tilly
"Tilly is a sweet, affectionate girl who can be a little worried at times but has grown in confidence since coming into our care," Dog's Trust said.
"She has previously lived in a home, where she was housetrained and good to be left alone for a couple of hours, although this may need a gentle refresher as she settles into a new routine."
She is a Collie (Border) Cross who may live with children of secondary school age.

Cody
German Shepherd Cody is a young boy seeking adopters who are happy to continue his ongoing training and support him as he settles into a new environment.

Axel
Five-year-old Weirmaraner Axel has been in a home for all his life.
He is housetrained and getting used to spending short periods alone.
Axel can be a worried lad and would do best in a quieter home with children 16+ who are calm and can respect his need for space at times.

Cooper
Four-year-old Beagle Cooper is a bit sensitive and prefers a hands-off approach.
For this reason he is looking for an adult-only home where his new family can respect his space and avoid being overly physical with him.
He can be uncomfortable when disturbed while resting, so a quiet, calm environment is essential, Cooper would need a space away from busy foot traffic where he can relax.
