Second Antiques Roadshow episode filmed at Kenilworth Castle to air this weekend
The second episode of the Antiques Roadshow filmed at Kenilworth Castle will be aired this weekend.
Presenter Fiona Bruce was in Kenilworth last September filming her 13th series of the show, and the first of two episodes from the castle was aired in March.
The Antiques Roadshow, which has been running for more than four decades, was filmed on a closed set with a small invited audience only, to ensure the safety of guests, production and the wider public.
According to BBC iPlayer, the second Kenilworth episode will be broadcast on Sunday, July 18 at 8pm on BBC One.
The programme was initially scheduled to be broadcast in May but was pushed back in the schedule.
Speaking after the recordings last year, Fiona Bruce said: "Normally we welcome around 5,000 people to each Antiques Roadshow, but of course in these extraordinary times we will have to do things very differently. We've come up with a new way to safely film the show yet still bring you amazing items and stories .
"We've had a wonderful time at Kenilworth Castle and our experts have seen some really intriguing and valuable objects - I can't wait to see the finished programmes."
Matt Bulford, at English Heritage said: "We are pleased to be able to showcase our beautiful castle and to tell it's fascinating story."
