Kenilworth Railway Station remains without a tenant at its coffee shop following the departure of Colombia Rose.

The previous occupant set up shop in June 2022, adding to its other station locations which included Corby Railway Station.

But following their departure - and the subsequent liquidation of the company - operator West Midlands Railway is yet to find a replacement.

A West Midlands Railway spokesperson said: "Following the departure of the previous tenant the station building at Kenilworth currently remains unoccupied.

"We are continuing to seek a new tenant for the site and will update the community in due course.

"The occupancy of the building is unrelated to train services, which are running as usual."

In more positive news, MP Sir Jeremy Wright has launched a bid to have a bike hire scheme installed at Kenilworth Station.

If approved, the scheme could see Brompton Bikes set up a hire scheme at the station.
