Road closure details have been confirmed for Kenilworth's two Christmas Light Switch On Events.

The weekend's festivities will get underway on Friday (November 29) with the High Street Switch On.

This will then be followed by the event on Warwick Road on Sunday (December 1).

Friday's event will run from 5pm to 8pm, and High Street will be closed from the crossroads with Hill Street to Malthouse Lane from 3pm to 9pm.

For the Sunday event, road closures will be in place from 8am to 11pm.

The following closures will be in place:

• Warwick Road / The Square - from junction with Randall Road to Abbey End
• Smalley Place - from junction with Borrowell Lane and Abbey End
• The Square: Warwick Road to Abbey End
• Abbey End: From its junction with car park to rear of shops to The Square

The second instalment - starting at 1pm - will have fairground rides available from midday as well as entertainment on stage from 4pm to 8pm. 

The lights will be turned on at 6pm.
