Work to revamp a Kenilworth play area is set to start on Monday (February 3), five years after the project was due to begin.

Cllr Richard Dickson has been pressing Warwick District Council to start the overdue work at Glendale Avenue Park for months, as the development was continually pushed down the road.

But now it has been confirmed the works will start next week, with the park due to be closed for three weeks.

New play equipment and benches will be installed.

Works to Glendale Avenue Park were due to be completed in 2019.
