Kenilworth locals will be able to find out more about the much-delayed South Warwickshire Local Plan (SWLP) at a public information meeting this weekend.

The major planning document - which is being created by Warwick and Stratford-on-Avon District Councils - will govern how the area is developed for the next 25 years.

It is reaching its latter stages, with locals now able to see a full draft version.

Local councillors Mark Stevens and David Armstrong are hosting the event on Saturday 13 June at 2pm at Kenilworth Methodist Church on Priory Road.

The event - which will also be attended by sustainability expert George Martin - is expected to feature a 20 minute presentation followed by a Q&A session for residents.

Large format versions of the housing development maps affecting Kenilworth will also be available for residents to view. This as well a few copies of the printed SWLP document itself.
