Housing developers in Kenilworth have been targeted by thieves again, with more thefts reported over the bank holiday weekend.

Between Friday 5 May and Tuesday 9 May 2023 offenders have entered a construction site off Glasshouse Lane by taking down an exterior security fence.

Once inside they have stolen multiple items including four packs of timber for stud walling, three cable avoiding tools (CAT scanners), a selection of power tools and have syphoned diesel fuel from several vehicles on site.

Police have not said at which construction site the incident happened.

But it is the second theft from local building sites in the past few weeks, with a forklift and a mini digger taken from a site on Saturday, April 22.

If you think you may have seen or heard anything suspicious, have any CCTV, dashcam footage or any information about this crime contact Warwickshire Police on 101. Alternatively, you can Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111
