More than 60 tractors will once again blaze their way through Kenilworth and South Warwickshire in aid of two local charities this December.

A huge hit last Christmas, the vehicles decked with lights paraded through the area raising nearly £7,000.

This year the Christmas convoy will return on Tuesday 12 December 2023, all in aid of The Warwickshire Federation of Young Farmers' Clubs and The Myton Hospice.

Last year the parade began at Berkswell & Balsall Rugby Club, but the route for 2023 will be confirmed in the coming weeks.

Organisers told Nub News: "This year we are hoping to raise more money for Warwickshire YFC and Myton Hospice with the help from an online fundraising campaign and from collectors in the busiest areas throughout the run.

"We're very excited to be bringing Warwickshire another Christmas Tractor Run and hope to be doing it for many years to come!

"We will be running through Leamington, Warwick and Kenilworth and through some of the surrounding areas, route is to be confirmed in the coming weeks!"

More than £5,000 has so far been raised from tractor drivers, passengers and spectators (image supplied)

Last year people lined the streets all along the route and the spectacle brought together all ages, with children particularly fascinated.

Comments on Facebook and the Go Fund Me page included "It was brilliant and the children loved it" and "I respect the amazing efforts the young farmers went to to bring enjoyment to all for worthy and worthwhile causes".
