A popular coffee and ice cream van has returned to Abbey Fields.

Forrest Coffee House has been selling its popular range of snacks and hot drinks outside Kenilworth's leisure centre for the past couple of years from its mobile units.

However the café, which first opened its doors at The Square in 2020, has been absent from Abbey Fields in the early part of this year as the demolition of the swimming pools took its regular spot away.

But now the mobile coffee shop has returned to the town centre park on weekends, at a new location next to the car park off Bridge Street.

Forrest will be in Abbey Fields - weather permitting - on Saturdays and Sundays from 9am to 5.30pm over the coming weeks.

And the business plans to be there every day during the summer holidays.

"We are really excited to be back up and running now in Abbey Fields," Alex Clohessy of Forrest Coffee House told Nub News.

"Lots of people had been asking when we would be coming back.

"We have missed being there on a regular basis, so it is great to have a new spot.

"We have really enjoyed being back there over the past few weeks."

Forrest was also in the news last week for promising to donate all its takings on Wednesday (July 5) to a family trying to raise over £1 million to pay for life-saving treatment for their toddler who has been diagnosed with a rare cancer.
