Police are appealing for witnesses following a crash on the A46 near Kenilworth yesterday (November 1).

Warwickshire Police said there was a collision involved a white van and a grey Volkswagen Transporter on the northbound carriageway between the Thickthorn and Stoneleigh islands at around 11.10am.

But the force said the van failed to stop at the scene.

"Were you driving on the A46 from Kenilworth to Coventry on Wednesday morning (1 November)?" a police statement said.

"It happened around 11.10am opposite the roadworks and the white van failed to stop at the scene.

"Thankfully no-one was injured, but we are investigating and are encouraging people with information to get in touch.

"We're particularly keen to hear from anyone who was driving along the stretch of road and has dashcam footage of the vehicles and the manner in which they were being driven.

"If you can help, please contact us quoting incident number 128 of 1 November."
