A piece of land in the centre of Balsall Common with planning permission to be turned into four homes has been put on the market.

Xact Homes is marketing the plot of land on Station Road for £999,900.

The 627 square metre plot is sandwiched between two rows of houses.

It is available freehold and with outline planning permission for the four dwellings.

Planning permission for the development was approved by Solihull Council in May 2023 following a planning appeal.

An initial appeal in 2021 to force through the homes was dismissed.

The land was previously part of the rear gardens of two neighbouring properties.

The brochure describes the plot as "an exciting development opportunity to purchase a site with planning consent for four detached Homes in a central location, close to the village of Balsall Common".

It adds: "The development has recently achieved planning permission for, four bedroom detached homes.

"The site will be accessed via Station road, where an access point is being made between 90 & 92 Station road to give four new plots for development."
