Kenilworth second most expensive place to live in Warwickshire

Kenilworth is now the second most expensive Warwickshire town to buy a house, according to new data released by HM Land Registry.

The data uses the average prices of houses sold in each area, across the 12 months leading up to the middle of September.

The last time Nub News looked at this data Kenilworth was ranked first.

According to the Land Registry data, the average sold property price in Kenilworth over the last year was £404,106.

The list was topped by Stratford-upon-Avon with an average price of £425,568.

The majority of sales in Kenilworth over the past year were detached homes, with an average price of £654,922.

Semi-detached houses fetched on average £385,703 and flats £188,721.

Sold prices in Kenilworth were eight per cent lower than the previous year.

The average property price across Warwickshire is £344,967.00.
