Plans for 550 new Kenilworth homes - split across two parcels of land - have been revealed.
Catesby Estates is getting ready to submit planning applications for the plots of land around Rouncil Lane and Warwick Road.
Plans show around 350 houses are planned to the west of Rouncil Lane, with the remaining 200 earmarked for the west of Warwick Road.
A public consultation has been launched before a formal bid is submitted to Warwick District Council.
"Our vision is to plan high quality, sustainable and well connected developments providing a range of house types and sizes, including much needed affordable housing," Catesby said.
"We are seeking feedback from local residents and other stakeholders before finalising the proposals and submitting planning applications to Warwick District Council.

"The consultation website provides details of the proposals, and the opportunity to provide comments as part of this pre-application consultation process."
Catesby is planning for half the houses to be designated affordable homes.
"Extensive" landscaping, children's play areas and cycle routes are also planned.
Locals have until Sunday 20 September to have their say on the plans.
The news comes as much of the land gets earmarked for houses in the South Warwickshire Local Plan.
Residents are already working to block the land - and a potential 750 news homes - from being included in the major planning document.
A planning application for 180 new homes on Rouncil Lane has already been submitted to the district council for approval.
