Outdoor area at Henley Station brought back to life following arson attack

Community spirit has been shown in abundance in Henley-in-Arden where the outdoor space has been brought back to life following an arson attack earlier this summer.
Thousands was raised to help rebuild the "cherished" sitting area after firefighters were called to the station in the early hours of the morning on Thursday 26 June.
The seating pods on site were totally destroyed in the blaze and the The Brookie Bean coffee trailer came within inches of catching fire.
Following weeks of work on site clearing the area, it has now been brought back to life.

New planters have been installed, as has a new metal storage container pod.
The random assortment of picnic tables and campchairs donated by the community after the attack have now been replaced with new benches.
And the community effort was celebrated last weekend with a music festival on site.
Volunteer group Friends of Henley Station - which was instrumental in bringing the site into community use - thanked the "generous" support of locals

"Mark Adams and R Adams & Sons Ltd for their ongoing support both financially, with fencing supplies & gifting their labour time after the fire.
"Rob our electrician who again has volunteered his labour to get us back up and running.

"David Broadbent who has spent hours repairing the fire damaged coffee trailer and bench tables.
"The container which has been customised for our needs has been supplied from Alcester.
"Plus not forgetting our team of volunteer directors who have worked tirelessly, giving their time, to get us back up and running. Angela Okey, Neil Morgan Gail & John Shuttleworth.
"Plus a huge thank you to you all for continuing to support us despite our fire damage and plastic table and chairs.....you are all amazing."
