A new sandwich shop is set to open in Kenilworth this October.

Sabins Sandwich Shop - which already has branches in Warwick and Leamington Spa - is set to open a new store at The Square.

The business confirmed the move in a post on social media earlier this summer, and has now said the unit will open on October 6.

"Sabins Kenilworth opens 6 October at 8am at 9 The Square," the business said in a post on social media.

"It's taken longer than we hoped, and this year has thrown some pretty crazy things at us.

"Thank you for your patience, your messages and every 'when are you opening?'

"We've felt the love, and we're nearly ready to give it back in sandwiches.

"Now we need your help with one very serious question: if Kenilworth had its own Sabins sandwich, what would go in it?"

Sabins is set to take over the former Bayzos estate agent unit next to Forrest Coffee House.

When confirming the new shop, the business said the Kenilworth unit will not just be a copy of its existing sites.

It continued: "It'll be another home for proper sandwiches, incredible coffee, warm welcomes and the kind of place where you'll probably bump into someone you know.

"Fresh bread. Proper ingredients. Familiar faces. No shortcuts.

"We're incredibly proud, unbelievably grateful and, if we're honest, absolutely terrified… which probably means we're doing something worth doing.

"To everyone who has supported us in Leamington and Warwick: this is your achievement as much as ours."
