Opening date confirmed for Balsall Common Aldi

Aldi's new Balsall Common supermarket is just weeks away from opening.
The Kenilworth Road store is one of 16 set to open in the coming months.
Aldi has confirmed the new shop will open on Thursday 3 September.
The discount retailer, which now has more than 1,080 stores nationwide, will open new locations in areas including Watford and Hoxton in London, Hattersley in Greater Manchester, and Balsall Common.
The deputy prime minister rubber-stamped the decision allowing Aldi to build a new store in Balsall Common in February last year.

The chain applied in 2021 for the demolition of a vacant former service station on the old Edwins Autos site, to the north of Balsall Common, and construction of the supermarket.
The application featured plans for 93 parking spaces and a cycle shelter providing room for 16 bikes on the Kenilworth Road site.
Aldi was given the go-ahead for the build last October after Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council's planning committee voted unanimously in favour.
The latest openings support Aldi's long-term ambition to operate 1,500 stores across the UK.
Jonathan Neale, Managing Director of National Real Estate at Aldi UK, said: "At Aldi, we're committed to making high-quality, affordable food accessible to everyone, which is why we continue to invest in expanding our store network across the UK.
"Our £370 million investment in new stores this year will help us bring Aldi's unbeatable value to even more communities, supporting local economies through our industry-leading pay for colleagues."
