A one-day market in Kenilworth today (May 29) is celebrating the reopening of local businesses as lockdown restrictions ease.

The 'Open Day Market' in Talisman Square - organised by Kenilworth Town Council - was opened by Mayor of Kenilworth, Cllr Peter Jones at 10am this morning. It will run until 5pm.

As well as 25 local traders, the market also has a stall for the first 'Kenilworth Naturewatch Week' which starts today. An interview with event leaders Cllr Samantha Cooke and Cllr John Dearing can be seen at the top of this page.

To encourage cycling to the market, the town council is also providing free bicycle parking, repairs and security checks for bikes at the Kenilworth Centre, Abbey End.

More details on the market can be found here.
