Event of the Week: Last chance to enter Mayoral photo competition

By James Smith

5th Jun 2021 | Local News

As pubs and hospitality venues open again, and group events begin to be organised we have launched our 'Event of the Week' article to shine a spotlight on what's on locally.

There are many events taking place in Kenilworth, which you can find on our recently revamped What's On section.

Our top pick from local events this week is the closing date for the Mayoral Photography Competition which has been running this week (June 6).

Organised by Kenilworth Town Council's climate roadmap group, the competition comes as part of the inaugural Kenilworth Naturewatch Week.

'Show off your camera skills with the Mayoral photography competition.'

There are three age categories: Under 11s, 11-17, and 18+.

Each person can submit up to six photos, and you can enter via Facebook, Instagram and Twitter using #knw21 or #kenilworthnaturewatch.

Don't forget to tag @kenilworthweb too!

Make sure you say in your post that it is a competition entry and which age bracket you are entering in.

Not on social media? Email your entries to Sam ([email protected]), or tag us in your posts by midnight on the closing date to be in with a chance to win a prize.

Winners will be announced soon after the deadline closes.

You can list your events - e.g. shows, films, sports fixtures, quiz nights, local markets, steak nights at the local pub, jazz choir rehearsals, or anything else - on our What's On page FREE of charge, just click this link and then click the black 'Nub It' button.
