A new pilates studio is set to open in Kenilworth this summer, as a local business expands to its fourth Warwickshire site.

Work is underway on Warwick Road turning a former jewellers into a bespoke new studio for Rise & Reform Pilates.

The business - which began life in Leamington Spa 18 months ago - is hoping to open in just a few weeks and excitement is already building ahead of the launch weekend.

"We are week one of our build out at the moment and we are looking for 1 August for our launch weekend," business co-founder Nyle Beckett told Nub News.

"This is our fourth site that we are looking to open.

"We opened our first site in Leamington 18 months ago, and we have since opened another site in Rugby in February, we then relocated our original site in Leamington Spa at the end of February and then opened our third site at the end of May in Stratford.

"It has been a pretty busy start to the year!"

Rise & Reform was launched by Nyle and business partner Wissam Khozoui as the two personal trainers saw an increased demand from their existing client base.

Already running successful PT businesses, they said their clients had to go elsewhere for reformer pilates sessions, and asked if the duo would be able to expand their offering.

Nyle explained: "We started our working careers as personal trainers.

"We have worked alongside each other and opened our own studios.

"When we first opened, a lot of our members were going elsewhere for their reformer pilates, they liked the product we were offering for PT and asked whether it is something we could explore.

"We started at our site in Leamington and quickly outgrew that space.

"Our clientele have helped support our success and then we have created a bit more brand presence and built a strong team around us, delivering the product and we are trying to create the best working environment for them and the best training environment for our community members as well."

After the success of their existing studios in Leamington, Rugby and Stratford, Nyle said Kenilworth was the right next step.

Having gone to school in the town, he was already well acquainted with the local area, and said the unit on Warwick Road was exactly what they were looking for.

Work is now underway on the major refurb, with the duo "excited" to welcome the community in.

"We are taking everything back to brick and building a brand new studio facility," Nyle said.

"We will also have a social space, a coffee shop out the front.

"We are not trying to compete with the rest of the high street, it is a space to do socials for our community members and a space where connections can be built before and after classes.

"Rather than being an in-and-out service, we want to give an opportunity for people to build those deeper connections and have a space where they can socialise."

And ahead of opening, Nyle said Rise & Reform will offer something for all fitness and experience levels.

He said: "People often think they are not fit enough or flexible enough to start.

"But we like to say pilates is for everybody, it doesn't matter where you are on your journey, there is something we can offer for you.

"We offer levels of classes, from introductory classes for people who have never trained or haven't trained in a while.

"We then have intermediate and advanced.

"Depending on your experience level, we have something for you."
