A new jewellers has opened in the centre of Kenilworth, after just three weeks of renovating the shop.

The Jones Family Jewellers has taken over from Sylvesters the Jewellers in Talisman Square, after the latter closed on Christmas Eve.

Following a slight delay, the new business opened fully for the first time on Tuesday (January 16), welcoming back returning as well as new customers.

"We are really please to be open and are ready to welcome all the customers back to our brand new store," business owner Richard Jones told Nub News.

"Please come and have a look!

"Do you need anything else? Our first day was a complete success - the first day of many!"

The Jones Family Jewellers already has a store in Leamington Spa, and also runs Leamington Jewellery Repairs.

As well as keeping on the current staff, the Kenilworth branch of The Jones Family Jewellers will also offer a similar range of stock and will continue to do repairs in house.

Having started his career in the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham, Richard then moved to Leamington to work for another firm, before going solo in January 2013.

He started out as a cash for gold business, then expanded into repairs, before opening The Jones Family Jewellers in 2017 on Satchel Walk.
