The Nature Day for Children is set to return to Abbey Fields this May following the success of its first event in March.

Community group Friends of Abbey Fields is offering places to children in school years three to six for the community day on 25 May.

The event will be run by Jo Harper, who has extensive experience in nature and conservation education.

"The session will be packed with exploration, knowledge-building, creative activities, and fun, with the beautiful Abbey Fields providing the backdrop," organisers said.

The event is being subsidised by Kenilworth Lions and Friends of Abbey Fields and costs just £12.

It will run from 1pm to 5pm from the Basement Snug.

"Availability is limited, so we encourage you to apply early to secure your child's place and avoid disappointment," organisers added.

Apply online - further details will then be sent to you.
