Police have charged three people with the murder of a man in Kenilworth on Friday (20 March) night.

Emergency services attended the scene at Chestnut Avenue just before midnight where a man in his 40s was found in cardiac arrest. He died at the scene.

Today (Monday 23 March), Lewis Dowling, 24, of Yarnfield Road, Birmingham, Patricia Dowling, 49, of Chestnut Avenue, Kenilworth and a 16-year-old boy from Kenilworth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, were charged with murder.

All three, who are white British, have been remanded in custody to appear at Coventry Magistrates' Court tomorrow (Tuesday 24 March).

A statement issued earlier today by Warwickshire Police said a 72-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender on Sunday night.

The force has said it does not believe there is a "wider risk to the public".

Police have remained at the scene on Chesnut Avenue throughout today, with the house still taped off.

Anyone with information that could help police with their enquiries can call 101 quoting incident 491 of 20 March 2026. Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
