One of Kenilworth's longest established hair and beauty salons has continued to evolve following the challenges of the pandemic.

Rumours Hair and Beauty, in Oaks Precinct, has been under the creative eye of Lesley Huus since she took over from her mum, Lynne, whom many readers may remember.

While there have been tough times, Lesley said she is sure a lot of other businesses can relate.

"The foundations that mum laid many years ago, ensuring customer care was of the highest priority and building trust with clients is still paramount," she said.

Lesley does this by offering quality products, constant access to expert training for the staff, and consistently monitoring the market to ensure they stay current with trends.

Rumours is proud to stock professional products such as Dermalogica, Aveda and GHD which all involve ongoing support and collaboration, perfect for bringing clients the latest products.

The staff are always happy to give their expert advice to clients and customers can then easily browse for their favourite products from the convenience of the salon or the online shop.

Moving with the times, Lesley has embraced the importance of being as eco-friendly as possible in the salon, whilst also keeping it stylish and welcoming.

"With our last salon refit we took a new approach and put in place new energy saving measures to cut down on our carbon footprint," she added.

"We've taken on board more eco-friendly products and colour such as Aveda who do a wonderful job of contributing to the wellbeing of the planet and our industry."

As well as offering the usual hairdressing services everyone knows and loves - such as specialist cuts, foils, Balayage, special occasion hair style - Rumours has also introduced keratin hair straightening treatments, hair extensions and weaves.

Everyone is welcome to follow their social media on Facebook and Instagram for all the team's work, offers and news.

And whether you are a regular, previous or new client, Rumours runs a fantastic referral scheme, benefiting you and a friend or family member.

There is also free easy parking in the Oaks Precinct car park, which also has electric car charging points for your convenience.
