More flowers planted in Kenilworth thanks to community grant

More bulbs have been planted along Kenilworth's Station Road thanks to a donation from Kenilworth Repair Café.
Kenilworth Community Gardeners (KCG) completed the planting around the road earlier this year and has thanked the repair café for the "generation donation".
After the community garden in Talisman Square had to be removed ahead of development works, volunteers said they wanted to create a "green urban corridor" around Station Road and through the town centre.
"We hope residents and visitors are enjoying the Summer flowers which are bringing such lovely colour along Station Road," KCG said.

Sharon Maxted gave the donation to KCG on behalf of the Repair Café.
The Repair Café takes place every third Saturday from 2pm-5pm at the United Reform Church.
Like KCG, this is a community-driven initiative run by volunteers for the benefit of the wider community.
More information about the Repair Café Kenilworth can be found on Facebook.
"Volunteers, knowledge, donations and ideas are always welcome by KCG," the group said.
