Man in his 20's rushed to hospital after serious collision in Kenilworth

A man in his 20's was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a major collision in Kenilworth last night (Friday 17 February).

At around 7.50pm, a silver Ford Mondeo car was in collision with a pedestrian on the A452, Leamington Road.

Warwickshire Police is appealing for any witnesses or dashcam footage following the incident.

A force spokesperson said: "The pedestrian, a man in his early 20's, sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital by ambulance.

"If anyone witnessed the collision or may have any dashcam footage or information, please call Warwickshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 366 of 17 February 2023."

Leamington Road was closed last night while emergency services were on the scene. Traffic was diverted into Leek Wootton.
