A man has died on a Kenilworth footpath today (November 22), police have confirmed.

Emergency services were called to the footpath near Harris Way/Common Lane this morning.

"We are sad to report that despite extensive efforts from our paramedic colleagues, a man has passed away," Warwickshire Police said.

"The death is not being treated as suspicious at this time."

Officers remained on scene for some time this morning.

"Our thoughts are with his loved ones and friends at this difficult time," the force's statement added.
