A 27-year-old man has been charged with multiple sexual offences following reports that two girls had been sexually assaulted.
The charges come after police were called to an unnamed hotel in Kenilworth on Monday evening (18 August).
Ahmad Hania, a Syrian national from King Edward Road, Nuneaton, has been charged with sexual assault on a female, one count of engaging in penetrative sexual activity with a girl under the age of 16 and one count of engaging in non-penetrative sexual activity with a girl under the age of 16.
Officers located both girls at the hotel, and later that same night arrested Hania at his home address.
He appeared at Coventry Magistrates Court on Wednesday morning (19 August).
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Warwick Crown Court on 17 September 2026.
"We continue to support the girls and their families, and have specially trained officers in place who are keeping them updated," Warwickshire Police said.
