Man arrested after indecent exposure incident on Kenilworth Greenway

A 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure after an incident on the Kenilworth Greenway.

Officers were called to Crackley Woods on Saturday morning (July 9) after a member of the public reported a man exposing himself while sitting on a bench.

Warwickshire Police arrested the Coventry man and seized some cannabis at the scene.

He was also arrested on possession of cannabis and has been bailed until next month while enquiries continue.

Police are asking for anyone with information to come forward.

A Warwickshire Police spokesperson said: "This was reported at 11.42am on Saturday.

"Report from a member of the public that a man had exposed himself in Crackley Woods, Crackley Lane, Kenilworth.

"Officers attended and a suspect was identified. The 31-year-old man from Coventry was arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure and possession of cannabis – cannabis seized at the scene.

"He has been bailed until next month while enquiries continue.

"Any witnesses or anyone with information can call 101 quoting the incident 162 of 9 July. Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
