Kenilworth charity faces closure due to lack of volunteers
A Kenilworth charity which provides support for disabled and non-disabled adults is in "serious danger" of closing due to a lack of volunteers.
Kenilworth Phab is looking for new members to join, help organise activities and, potentially, become involved in the management of the club.
The club has been organising social activities, holidays and outings for its members since it was formed in 1982 and would like to carry on doing so long into the future.
Chairperson, Martyn Parker, said: "I love being part of this club because everybody accepts and respects everyone else and we have great fun together.
"It is wonderful to have watched the development of many of our members and seen how their personalities have blossomed during their time with us.
"If this Phab Club was forced to close it would be a disaster for many of our members, but also a great loss to the local community."
The group is part of the national Phab Charity and currently has around 30 members.
It works to support people with disabilities who can be some of the most isolated members of society.
Kenilworth Phab hosts regular sessions each month and special events including karaoke and bowling.
