Kenilworth Nub News will be bringing you live updates about the local elections throughout the day, live from the NAEC Stoneleigh.

Results are awaited for both Kenilworth Town Council and Warwick District Council.

Residents took to the polls yesterday (May 4) to vote in 26 councillors across the two councils.

Going into the elections there was no majority control at WDC. Conservatives held 16 of the 44 seats.

Meanwhile at the town council the Greens had the most (eight) but still did not hold a majority at the 17-seat council.

WDC Final Total (of 44 seats): Green 14 / Labour 11 / Lib Dems 10 / Conservative 6 / Whitnash 3

KTC Final Total (of 17 seats): Lib Dems 7 / Green 10 / Lab 0 / Conservative 0
