This Easter holiday, families are invited to take part in an "incredible" LEGO® Brick Build session at Kenilworth Castle, the first of its kind held there by English Heritage.

The Big Brick Build at Kenilworth starts on Friday 29 March and runs until Sunday 7 April, offering the chance to get a unique new perspective on the castle's historical architecture.

Children over four years-old can get creative by designing their own part of Kenilworth's Elizabethan Garden to sit within a LEGO® brick sculpture of the castle's most famous features.

Brick artists will be on hand to help and will be continually swapping in new contributions to the build as the week progresses.

Families can take part as many times as they like for the price of a standard admission ticket.

Ella Harrison, event manager at English Heritage, said: "We're so excited for The Big Brick Build because it's the first time that Kenilworth Castle has been constructed in LEGO® on site.

"We can't wait to see the imagination and fun that everyone brings in creating their own piece of the castle's gardens.

"The sculpture will be updated as the week goes on – just as the flowers and plants will be as we step into spring."

That is not all on offer at Kenilworth Castle over the school holidays to keep the kids entertained. Every day between Saturday 23 March until Sunday 14 April, children will be able to embark on a cracking Easter Adventure Quest.

Each child will receive a quest booklet which will take them on an egg-citing hunt around the grounds, uncovering clues to the fascinating history of Easter as they go.

On completing the challenge there will (of course!) be a tasty chocolate reward to tuck into. It costs just £2 to take part, for both English Heritage members and non-members, on top of the normal ticket price.

There is no need to book the quest, just simply turn up at site.

Ella added: "At English Heritage we want to make sure our family visitors have egg-ceptional fun when they visit our properties during the school holidays.

"Our Easter Adventure Quest is a wonderful way to engage children and keep them entertained as they explore Kenilworth Castle."
