Kenilworth Fringe Festival 2027 kicks off with its official launch event in the town centre on Saturday (October 10).

The festival was first held in February and attracted more than a thousand people to its varied week of cultural events.

The success of the first ever Kenilworth Fringe Festival has prompted organisers to arrange an even bigger and better event for the first week of February 2027.

On Saturday in Talisman Square between 10am and 3pm the 2027 Fringe Festival will be officially launched.

Visitors are invited to go along to find out more, pick up a festival brochure, talk to organisers and enjoy entertainment at 12pm and 1pm.

Already planned for the 2027 festival are events featuring music, books, dance, poetry, political debate, local history, crafts, art and activities for children.

Headline guests will include Horrible Histories creator Terry Deary and top TV historian Dr Janina Ramirez of Oxford University.

Kenilworth Fringe Festival organiser Rebecca Warwick, chair of Kenilworth Chamber of Trade, said: "We are so excited about the next festival. We have built on the success of the first event earlier this year and the 2027 event will be bigger and better in every way. We think it will be amazing.
