Kenilworth's High Street to shut for six days for gas works

Kenilworth's High Street is set to shut for six days this week.

The busy road will be shut from Tuesday 18 November until Sunday 23 November.

The road is being shut by Cadent Gas for "new service connection".

One resident of High Street told Nub News they hope there is no more rain as there will be "carnage" if the ford is impassable while High Street is shut.

A Cadent notice ahead of the works said; "If you have a safety concern about our equipment (e.g. barriers, signs or cones), please call a member of the team.

"Smell Gas? Call 0800 111 999."
