A play that will be cast, rehearsed and staged all within the space of 48 hours will come to a Kenilworth theatre this weekend.

Made in 48 Hours will present Murder on the Titanic this Sunday (July 31) at the Talisman Theatre.

The cast at the Barrow Road theatre will be presented with the script on the evening of Friday 29 July.

Props and costumes will then be sourced, lines will be learnt within two days all before the 7.30pm performance on Sunday 31.

A Talisman Theatre spokesperson said: "Murder, mystery and mayhem are on the cards in this totally fictional story, set on the infamous ship, before it hit that iceberg.

"Three teams of detectives find themselves in the middle of multiple crimes scenes with too many suspects to manage.

"Working together, can they solve the murders before the ship goes down?"

All tickets cost £12 and the proceeds will go to Warwickshire Young Carers.
