Kenilworth Rotary Club has presented a cheque for £2,500 to The Myton Hospices from its Tree of Light Project.
The Tree of Light, which was fundraising both for Myton and KidsOut Toybox, was located in Talisman Square throughout December.
The tree raised £5,000 for the two charities, with Rotary members manning the tree to take donations and help residents place written messages remembering loved ones to decorate it.
Kenilworth Rotary members met Myton community fundraiser Louise Careless at the Holiday Inn on Monday, February 14, night.
After an absence during the pandemic, Kenilworth Rotary Club hopes the tree will continue as an annual event after this year's success.
Club member Malcom Matthews said: "We had a very enjoyable half hour with Myton and some of the people who had worked on the Tree of Light project, Rotarians and non-Rotarians both.
"In addition to Rotarians, we were delighted to welcome the Measures sisters: Matilda, Hermione and Alice, who contributed a very useful sum to the Tree of Light coffers one afternoon by giving a performance of Christmas music on their instruments: two violins and bells.
"We hope they'll be back to perform again next Christmas time."
Club members will present the rest of the money raised to KidsOut Toybox in March.
