Below are the key planning applications in Kenilworth recently received or decided on by Warwick District Council.

Objection to new stables

Kenilworth Town Council's planning committee has objected to two new stables at Hammonds Barn, Purlieu Lane.

Councillors said the development was inappropriate in the Green Belt and there were "no special circumstances for it to be approved".

"This is a significant development on a historic site in a sensitive position. It would have a detrimental impact on the openness of this green belt location."
