Here are the biggest local planning stories from the past week.
Wetherspoon Plans
Pub giant Wetherspoon has applied for planning permission to install a new illuminated hanging sign at its new Kenilworth pub.
The sign would be installed to the front of the Dictum of Kenilworth at The Square.
Designs show the sign would show Kenilworth Castle, a scroll, a sword and a crown.
Major New Housing Plan
More details have been revealed for possible plans for 1,200 homes between Leamington Spa and Kenilworth.
Nub News revealed last week Richborough Estates wants to build the huge development on the land at Sandy Lane, Blackdown.
Ultimately the estate could also include a local centre, mobility hub, community park and primary school.Read the full story here.
Abbey Fields Fears
Town councillors continue to call on their district colleagues to find a solution to predicted parking problems at Abbey Fields.
Kenilworth's new swimming pools are due to open next year, but members at Kenilworth Town Council have warned the new facility will cause issues for motorists around the park.
Members have already written to Warwick District Council (WDC) to ask for a solution, with a response this month saying the local authority is waiting for its new car parking strategy to be completed.
