Here are the biggest local planning stories from the past week.
New Houses
Plans to build three new homes in the centre of Kenilworth, on a site where five houses once stood, have been put forward to Warwick District Council.
The scheme for 'Railing Row' on Warwick Road would see one detached and two semi-detached homes built, each with two bedrooms.
A previous application to build five dwellings on the plot of land was withdrawn last summer.

Abbey Fields
Councillors will make a decision on the updated designs for Kenilworth's new swimming pools next week, with district planners recommending the new proposals are signed off.
Following the discovery of archaeological remains when the previous Abbey Fields Leisure Centre was demolished, Warwick District Council (WDC) has been forced to update the plans for the new building - which must now be signed off by the council's own planning committee.
Local councillors last month signed off the new budget for the project and agreed to press ahead with building the new pools in the town's park, with Kenilworth's representatives split over the decision.

Shed's New Life
Prior approval to turn a barn - which has been used to house cows for over 40 years - into five homes has been signed off by district planners.
Two objections had been made to the scheme to create two four-bed and three, two-bed homes at Crackley Farm, but planners said there was no reason to block the proposals.
The application says the Crackley Lane barn had been used to house a herd of cows during the winter since 1980, but has been out of use since the then farmer passed away in 2021.
