A Kenilworth opticians is appealing to the local community to help decide its charity of the year for the remainder of 2022.

Specsavers at The Square is asking people to nominate local charities or causes that they think most deserve to receive fundraising support from the store for the next six months.

Ambreena Bhatti, Specsavers Kenilworth store director, says: "We would like to encourage people to nominate a cause that they feel deserves our support. It could be for an individual who needs treatment for an illness, or for a local nursery that would like to renovate their playground.

"This is a great opportunity for us to engage with the local community and help those who need it most. If you know of a cause in need, we'd be very grateful to hear from you."

To nominate a local cause, please pop in or write to Specsavers at 17 The Square, Kenilworth, CV8 1EF or call 01926 865030.

The closing date for nominations is 31 August.
