Kenilworth now most expensive place to live in Warwickshire

Kenilworth is now the most expensive Warwickshire town to live in, according to new data released by HM Land Registry.

The data uses the average prices of houses sold in each area, across the 12 months leading up to the end of October.

The last time Nub News looked at this data, Henley-in-Arden topped the list with an average sold price of £683,500.

Henley has now slipped to second (£463,840) with the average property price in Kenilworth over the past year the highest at £473,835.

The rest of the top five is made up by Leamington Spa, Stratford-upon-Avon and Shipston - the same mix of towns as the last time we looked at the data.

Detached properties in Kenilworth sold on average for £736,991, semi-detached for £426,597 and terraced for £349,330.

The average property price across Warwickshire was £351,075.
