A Kenilworth Michelin Star restaurant has been announced in the line-up for Warwick's Pub in the Park Festival.

Tom Kerridge's festival will return to the town for the third year with The Cross at Kenilworth featured as one of the featured eateries.

Running between June 10-12 in St Nicholas Park, the three-day event will be hosted by TV chef James Martin.

As well as cooking demonstrations and stalls, the festival will also feature live music from Natalie Imbruglia, McFly and Sophie Ellis-Bextor.

The Cross will be returning to the event alongside Kerridge's own Hand and Flowers, Warwick's Rose and Crown and Andrew Pern's The Star Inn.

"We're so excited to be bringing some seriously top notch chefs and their incredible pubs and restaurants to the towns we love this year," Kerridge said.

"Food is at the very heart of what we do.

"I've had a sneak peek at the menus and I've definitely got my eye on a few of the dishes - we can't wait for you to try them."

In February it was announced that the Cross would retain its Michelin Star for the eighth consecutive year.

Owned by Andreas Antona and overseen by chef-director Adam Bennett, the Cross won its star back in 2014 just a year after opening.
