Kenilworth has been ranked as one of the top 20 'most lusted after places' in the UK.

The survey, published by Get Agent, looked at how many times people had searched for a specific town on Google and compared it to the number of properties available at the time.

Kenilworth came in at number 16 on the list with 64,800 searches in 2022 and was given a 'lusted after score' of 66 per cent.

The list was topped by Malton in Yorkshire, followed by Colchester in Essex and Penrith in Cumbria.

Kenilworth was the only Warwickshire town included in the list.

"To reveal which spots are the most desired in 2022, we created a scoring system to determine the 'lusted-after score' of each location featured in our study," the company said.

"By analysing global searches for "houses for sale in [location]" and pairing these with the number of properties currently for sale, we were able to unveil which destinations are truly the trickiest to move to at the moment, despite being lusted after."
