Kenilworth fire crews called out to road traffic collision on A46

Fire crews from Kenilworth and Binley Fire Stations have today (October 21) been called out to a road traffic collision on the A46.

A spokesperson from Kenilworth Fire Station said "At 12:24 this afternoon we were called to a Road Traffic Collision with reports of persons trapped on the A46 between Leaf Lane and Stoneleigh.

"The incident involved one car that had hit standing water and left the roadway and come to rest up an embankment."

"On our arrival no persons were trapped and in the care of Paramedics.

"The occupants received a precautionary check and did not require hospital treatment.

"Firefighters made the vehicle safe."
