Kenilworth and Warwick Rural Police have today reported the thefts of two catalytic converters in the town.

A police spokesperson said "unfortunately we've had two catalytic converter thefts in Kenilworth in the past 24 hours (Inc 376 and Inc 231).

"One of these was witnessed at the time but unfortunately not reported till several hours later.

"If you see a crime or suspected crime in action please dial 999 straight away.

"Please be assured you are not wasting our time and it is entirely appropriate to call us on 999 in these circumstances. The quicker we respond the better chance we have of catching them in the act."
