Kenilworth Dental Practice has been found to be upholding all elements of customer care following a routine inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

The Station Road dentists was described as "clean and well-maintained" with well-trained staff who made sure "patients were treated with dignity and respect".

In all five areas of care - safety, effectiveness, care, responsiveness and leadership - the practice was rated highly.

The report, which was published in December, also said "staff felt involved, supported and worked as a team".

"There was strong leadership with emphasis on peoples' safety and continually striving to improve," the report added.

"Systems and processes were embedded, and staff worked together in such a way that the inspection did not highlight any significant issues or omissions."

The inspection - the first at Kenilworth Dental Practice in over a decade - did find some areas for improvement.

Inspectors said infection control procedures needed to be corrected, as did the way NHS prescription pads were used and monitored.

"Staff knew how to deal with medical emergencies," the report said.

"Not all appropriate medicines and life-saving equipment were available.

"Missing items were ordered during this inspection."
