A busy Kenilworth junction will be closed from today (February 5) for "urgent coring investigation" and repairs to the road surface.

The crossing of High Street and Bridge Street will be shut until Friday (February 9).

Kenilworth Town Council also confirmed the one-way system on Fieldgate Lane will be suspended to allow access for residents.

The Warwickshire County Council website says the closure will be from 9am to 3pm each day.

The same junction was closed for a week in November for resurfacing.
