KENFEST Raises Over £10,000 for The Myton Hospices

KENFEST, Kenilworth's beer and music festival, held at Kenilworth Rugby Club last month, has successfully raised an impressive £10,111.66 for The Myton Hospices.
The cheque presentation took place at The Myton Hospices in Warwick on Monday 9 June, marking a significant contribution to the charity's efforts in providing essential palliative and end-of-life care and support to patients with life-limiting illnesses.
Ruth Freeman, CEO of The Myton Hospices, expressed her gratitude, stating: "The Myton Hospices is the only provider of inpatient hospice beds in Coventry and Warwickshire, and we offer a wide range of services to enhance the quality of life for our patients and their loved ones.
"We are incredibly grateful for the generous donation from KENFEST – it will have a meaningful impact on the people we care for, helping us continue to provide our vital support and services.
"This fantastic amount could fund an Inpatient Bed at Warwick Myton Hospice for three weeks."
Jai Purewal, KENFEST Curator, shared his thoughts on the festival's success: "We're beyond excited to donate over £10,000 to Myton this year, making it our third year of giving back through KENFEST.
"Thanks to the incredible support of the KENFEST family, we've been able to raise even more this time around. From great beer and cider, to supporting local music and festival suppliers, KENFEST has always been about more than just having fun, it's about coming together for local causes that really matter."
KENFEST is set to return next year on 1 May and will run until the 3 May 2026.
