A special event advising residents on how to keep their homes safe will be held in Kenilworth next month.

Hosted by Kenilworth Watch, the 'Keeping your Kenilworth Home Safe' morning will see security experts and Kenilworth's Safer Neighbourhood Team share guidance on home security.

The event will be hosted at the Holiday Inn on Sunday, September 11 from 10.30am to 1pm.

A Kenilworth Watch spokesperson said: "We'd love you to come along and meet Kenilworth's Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) and also to see, hear and access really useful information and advice from security experts.

"We are volunteers and we have arranged this after several residents asked us if we could arrange something where they could come and see and hear more about locks, doors and security etc.

"Please let us be clear this is not a commercial 'selling' event.

"We want as many people as possible to come along and meet those we have arranged to have available to the community for advice. Free bicycle marking will also be available."
